Michael Prosserman is the Board Chair of EPIC Leadership and Founder of Unity Charity. At Unity Charity, he has leveraged Hip Hop to support youth mental health and well-being, building a mission-driven organization from the ground up. He now speaks widely on leadership, team culture, development, and succession. Through his work with EPIC Leadership—a nonprofit “for executive directors, by executive directors”—Michael brings firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities of leading in the nonprofit sector, helping other leaders grow and thrive.

Moez is an entrepreneur and community builder passionate about helping people and communities reach their potential. Six years ago, Moez founded AMLB, a CPA firm that today is recognized as “top 50 globally” and provides virtual finance services to 25+ growth-oriented non-profits across Canada. Moez also teaches the Financial Literacy for Nonprofits course at Ontario Tech University and serves as board director for two Canadian charities – State of Kindness and Resilient Societies. He previously served as Chair, Treasurer and Head of Finance Committee for several non-profits across Canada. Prior to founding AMLB, Moez held leadership roles at TD and Deloitte and worked/lived in ten countries, including within Africa and the Middle East building financial capacity for international nonprofits. 

Natasha Smith leads the Charity & Not-for-Profit team at Cassels, advising organizations dedicated to social impact. She helps charities and non-profits achieve their missions with clarity, compliance, and confidence.

Partnering with boards and executives, Natasha strengthens governance, ensures tax compliance, and designs structures for long-term sustainability. Beyond legal advice, she provides strategic guidance to help organizations maximize impact in a changing regulatory and funding landscape.

Her expertise spans incorporation, charitable registration, international operations, revenue models, reporting obligations, and transformative initiatives such as mergers, asset transfers, social enterprise ventures, and corporate reorganizations.

A 2021 Lexpert Rising Star, consistently recognized by Lexpert and Chambers Canada, Natasha combines technical excellence with a mission-driven perspective, serving as the trusted partner organizations rely on to navigate complexity and drive meaningful change.

Janet is a Certified Fundraising Executive with over eight years of experience in philanthropy. She currently serves as Senior Manager, Development at Visions of Science, where she leads fundraising strategies that expand access to STEM for youth from underserved communities. Neil has 25+ years in the not-for-profit sector, including leadership roles at Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation and Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health. He founded V Formation, supporting 130+ small- to medium-sized charities across sectors from healthcare and housing to arts and animal welfare, driving sustainable revenue growth through innovative fundraising strategies.

Neil teaches Revenue Generation for Ontario Tech University’s Not-for-Profit Leadership Certificate Program and earned his MA in 2013 on organizational transformation through fundraising. A dedicated volunteer and former Rotarian, he enjoys Nordic skiing, hiking, book club meetings, and brings international experience from Fiji, Thailand, and India.
