Diversifying Your Funding Streams & Grant Writing Strategies
The Central York Chamber of Commerce is excited to host an in-person, half-day workshop designed to help non-profit organizations strengthen their financial sustainability through diversified funding opportunities and effective grant writing strategies.
Led by Dr. Stephanie Jonsson, award-winning researcher, educator and founder of the Open Digital Literacy and Access Network (ODLAN), this practical and interactive session will provide participants with actionable tools to identify new revenue streams, strengthen grant applications and take a more strategic approach to fund development.
With more than $1.5 million raised for ODLAN over the past five years, Dr. Jonsson brings valuable firsthand experience in securing funding and building sustainable financial models. She holds a PhD in Gender, Feminist and Women’s Studies from York University and has extensive experience in research, education and community-focused initiatives.
Whether your organization is looking to reduce its reliance on traditional funding sources, explore new opportunities or improve its grant writing approach, this workshop will provide practical guidance and strategies you can put into action.
